WHAT IS RISK MITIGATION TRAINING?

Risk Mitigation training focuses on prevention. In our litigious society, juries are increasingly awarding record damages, and supporting these damages by citing inappropriate actions and communications, including e-mail. Time and again, employees create the company’s liability with their actions and communications. IS THIS LEGAL TRAINING FOR LAWYERS?

No. Although LegalWATCH trainers are licensed attorneys, our training is designed for non-attorneys at all levels so that they will be able to recognize and respond to legal sensitivities inherent in their daily work. Our training is done in a classroom format where we utilize adult learning principles which help our clients to grasp, apply and retain the information covered.

WHAT IF OUR COMPANY LAWYERS ALREADY PROVIDE RISK MITIGATION TRAINING?

LegalWATCH is a perfect supplement to in-house training programs. Most in-house lawyers are not trained on the use of adult learning principles utilized by LegalWATCH to help employees grasp, retain and apply the information received in the training; consequently, we regularly work with in-house lawyers to tailor our training to their company's needs. Additionally, in-house lawyers are charged with the responsibilities of practicing law and as a result often lack the time to develop comprehensive programs to specifically address various training concerns.
