WHAT WE OFFER
The foundation for each of our training programs is prevention. Our
training is distinguished from others by our intertwining of risk mitigation
practices into each of our courses and the application of adult learning
principals that help employees grasp, apply and retain the information. We
customize our programs to your needs.
Risk Mitigation 101 Our signature award winning Risk Mitigation course
trains personnel at all levels on how to avoid making mistakes that often lead
to costly settlements, litigation, regulatory sanctions and criminal
liability. Your key personnel learn practices to reduce liability associated
with their actions and communications, with an emphasis on documentation.
Antitrust for Laymen This course provides participants with a working
knowledge of types of conduct and communications that can expose them and the
company to liability and preventive law measures to protect them from being a
target of unfair competition.
Contracts and Procurement We customize our program that utilizes hands-on
exercises and practical demonstrations to train contract administrators and
procurement professionals on key contractual provisions and tactics to
negotiate more favorable terms.
Cultural Diversity and Sensitivity This training promotes harmony in the
workplace and helps participants value, appreciate and capitalize on
individual and cultural differences.
Discipline and Performance Documentation This program trains management to
document disciplinary and performance matters in a factual, objective and
legally defensible manner. Management also learns techniques to use feedback
as a developmental tool.
Employment Law 101 This interactive course provides management with a
working knowledge of various employment laws so they can effectively address
concerns and conduct that expose them and the company to liability. Employment
Acts covered include Americans with Disabilities, Age Discrimination in
Employment, Family Medical Leave and Pregnancy Discrimination, as well as
Title VII. We also address the impact of retaliatory behavior and the
necessity of proper documentation practices.
Ethics This course helps executives better understand and appreciate
sensitivities associated with their actions and communications, including
implications associated with the Sarbanes Oxley Act. They learn practices that
can significantly reduce risks and negative press, as well as civil and
criminal liability.
Harassment This course covers both sexual and non-sexual harassment.
Participants learn types of conduct and communications that constitute
harassment and techniques to create a harassment free culture. You learn how
allegations turn into claims and lawsuits and to address problematic behavior
in a professional, diplomatic and legally sensitive manner.
Interviewing Practices and Techniques Interviewers and key personnel are
trained on the dos and donts of interviewing and techniques to gather
pertinent information without exposing themselves or the company to liability.
